Automated Search of EDGAR for Dopcuments was created by Kathleen Body
I enquired with Mpfari Mudau on the automated search possibilities.  He does a lot of searching and sometimes gets this message.  It appears that EDGAR has blocks on volume searches.  Hence no apps for webscraping.  So the only way is a slow manual low volume at a time search strategy.
