The SSC shall nominate and be represented on the Committee for Mineral Reserves International Reporting Standards (CRIRSCO) by two members (one representing the SAIMM and the other the GSSA), both of whom must be active members of the SAMREC Committee. Nominations are confirmed by the SSC on a bi-annual basis. Representatives may serve as CRIRSCO representatives for a period of up to eight years. The current SSC representatives on CRIRSCO are Messrs. Roger Dixon (SAIMM: 2006-2017) and Ken Lomberg (GSSA: 2012-2021). Ken currently serves as CRIRSCO Secretary.
